FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing protective coatings on metal surfaces. Described is a method of applying a coating of polytetrafluoroethylene on heat exchange elements, which consists in degreasing the surface of a heat exchange element, drying it, then forming a protective layer by mechanical rubbing of the surface of the heat exchange element, at least in two directions, powdered polytetrafluoroethylene with particle size of up to 2 mcm, followed by annealing at temperature of 240–260 °C before fusion of polytetrafluoroethylene nanoparticles.
EFFECT: technical result is improved anti-adhesion properties of heat exchange elements.
