FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of storing gaseous helium, mainly in large volumes. Said result is achieved by the fact that in the disclosed method of storing gaseous helium, sections of helium storage chamber (1) are made in form of above-ground high-capacity ball tanks (3) installed on supports (2), and on the inner surface of the tanks there is plating with pure iron for helium-permeability of the reservoir.
EFFECT: technical result when using method is reduction of capital costs for construction of storage facilities of gaseous helium and reduction of costs for logistics of supply of consumer with helium.
