FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to counting pulses. Method of counting pulses with time deadweight correction comprises steps, on which generating for each channel the lost pulse estimation in the channel with the corresponding suspected dead time for each channel, as well as obtaining for each channel its relative efficiency relative to the sum of efficiencies for all channels and outputting for each channel of insensitivity time. First corrected histogram is generated based on the corresponding detected pulse sequence and the estimated sequence of lost pulses for that channel or each channel. Each detected sequence of pulses is generated by the corresponding part of the detector, wherein each pulse in the sequence of pulses corresponds to at least one detected neutron.
EFFECT: high efficiency of counting neutrons with correction of insensitivity time.
