FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for ultrasonic inspection of metal article defectiveness. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the control product is placed in the immersion bath, scanning the article with ultrasonic signals during reciprocal movement of the ultrasonic sensor in the immersion liquid above the control article across the control region, recording the amplitude and coordinates of the ultrasonic echo signals, processing data on a computer and obtaining on a display two-dimensional ultrasonic images during B- and C-scanning of images forming a group obtained during B-scanning, are summed into a single image, in the presence of the defect in the article "per sheet" all ultrasonic images of this group are viewed, according to which the size of the defect is evaluated, wherein the article is scanned with ultrasonic signals from the linear phased antenna array sensors through the polylactide zone plate with the longitudinal rectangular openings, which is attached before sensors, made using 3D printer, having determined its thickness th and sizes of zones ln from a given mathematical expression, wherein scanning step along active ΔX and along passive aperture ΔY of phased antenna array is not more than 1 mm, determining the number of scanning steps Nx and Ny along the X and Y axes and the number of digital samples Nz in one ultrasonic signal at each scanning point and forming a matrix of values A (Nz, Nx, Ny), based on which the image of the internal defect of the article is visualized control.
EFFECT: possibility of ultrasonic inspection of items with deep bedding of defects, detection of defects, their size and location in real time mode.
