FIELD: power supply.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric supply of electrified railways. Contact network has a temperature sensor placed on the contact wire connected to a radio transmitter which is connected to the radio receiver connected to the comparison and control unit by means of the transmitting and receiving antenna. Comparator and control unit generates an effect on the contactor feeder circuit breaker drive for its disconnection from the power supply source. Contact network includes a tension sensor made in the form of a flexible element equipped with force and temperature sensors, the outputs of which are connected to the radio transmitter. Tension sensor is connected by means of clamps to the contact wire, at that one end of the flexible element is fixed rigidly, and the other end - by means of a spring and a tension mechanism.
EFFECT: technical result is broader functional capabilities of the catenary system.
