SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering. Contact system contains power supply source, breaker, contact wire, measuring devices, unit of comparison of contact wire temperature with preset value and disconnection of contact system in case contact wire temperature exceeds preset value, at that every of measuring devices is installed in contact wire as temperature detector, the inlet of which is connected to contact wire, and outlet is connected to the inlet of radio transmitter, which is installed in contact wire and provides transmission of information about temperature of contact wire to the inlet of radio transmitter, the outlet of which is connected to the inlet of comparison of contact wire temperature with preset value and disconnection of contact system in case contact wire temperature exceeds preset value.

EFFECT: creation of contact system, which is characterised by high validity of contact wire temperature measurement and high operational reliability.
