FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-road transport equipment and can be used as wheelchair propulsor for overcoming stair flights of common use. Screw-type propulsor comprises a hollow rotor with a screw flange provided with a rotation mechanism and a rotary head. Hollow rotor with multi-threaded helical crest is made in the form of system of tubular profile containers, having radial cavities, in which elastically pliable support elements are mounted. Support elements are made as peripheral part of rotor helical crests by means of actuator, which controls extension of support elements from cavities.
EFFECT: it is possible to expand the functionality of the screw propeller when moving on solid surfaces with obstacles.
