FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for testing samples of equipment for resistance, safety and susceptibility to action of harmonic electromagnetic fields (EMF) of meter wavelength range. Disclosed method consists in formation of extended areas of homogeneous linearly polarized electromagnetic field for testing large-size samples of equipment using two antennae, directional pattern of each in the direction of the working area should not have more than one main lobe in the entire frequency range, and excited by harmonic currents of one frequency ƒ phases ψ1 and ψ2.
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of testing large-size equipment, particularly cars.
