FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to installations for preparation of heavy hydrocarbon gas, for example associated petroleum gas (APG), by steam conversion to transport or use and can be used in oil and gas industry. Invention relates to a unit for preparation of heavy hydrocarbon gases by selective catalytic steam conversion, which includes a converter equipped with starting and heating systems with heat carrier supply lines, equipped with a converted gas discharge line, a recovery heat exchanger, as well as an associated petroleum gas (APG) supply line, as a heavy hydrocarbon gas, and water and a prepared gas discharge line. On the water supply line there is a water treatment unit, to the APG supply line the prepared water supply line adjoins, and then a recovery heat exchanger and a heater equipped with a heat carrier supply line and consisting of two heat exchange sections and a separation unit with a water discharge line to the water treatment unit, installed between them, additionally, on the converted gas outlet line there is a cooling and separation device equipped with a prepared gas discharge line and a water condensate supply line to the water treatment unit.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of metal consumption and power consumption of plant, higher quality of prepared gas.
