FIELD: lubricants.
SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses a lubricating composition for reducing corrosion of copper and lead, containing a base oil, present in amount of at least 85 wt % of the weight of the lubricant composition, and an additive composition containing (A) a molybdenum sulfur-containing organic compound selected from molybdenum dithiophosphate, dithiocarbamate of molybdenum and trinuclear dithiocarbamate of molybdenum, (B) a sulfur-free organic compound of molybdenum, which is a complex of ester/amide of molybdenum and (C) a triazole derivative, obtained by reaction of 1,2,4-triazole, source of formaldehyde and amine; wherein the triazole derivative is selected from a butylated/octylated diphenylamine derivative of 1,2,4-triazole; dioctylated diphenylamine derivative of 1,2,4-triazole; 1-(N,N-bis(2-ethylhexyl)aminomethyl) -1,2,4-triazole and N, N-bis(2-ethylhexyl)-ar-methyl-1H-benzotriazole-1-methanamine, where the ratio of (A):(B), expressed as molybdenum content, ranges from 0.5:1 to 2:1, and total content of molybdenum from (A) and (B) ranges from 150 ppm to 320 ppm, and (C) triazole derivative is present in amount of 0.005 to 0.4 wt % from lubricating composition.
EFFECT: disclosed is an additive for lubricant compositions containing a sulfur-containing organic sulfur-free molybdenum compound and a triazole.
