FIELD: medical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to irradiation with radioactive rays, and, in particular, to a neutron dose detection device and a neutron capture therapy device. A neutron capture therapy device is configured to irradiate a body to be irradiated with a neutron beam with a predetermined dose of neutrons, wherein the neutron beam enters the body to be irradiated and undergoes a nuclear reaction with boron in the body to be irradiated. The neutron capture therapy device contains a correction system configured to correct a preset neutron dose. The correction factors used by the correction system include the bore self-shielding effect correction factor Ks, calculated using formula (3-6): Ks = ϕB / ϕ0 (3-6), where ϕB is the flux of thermal neutrons in the body to be irradiated when the boron concentration distribution is equal to B, and ϕB0 is the flux of thermal neutrons in the body to be irradiated when the distribution of boron concentration is equal to B0.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at solving problems associated with inaccurate setting of preset radiation parameters, such as neutron radiation dose, with inaccurate determination of the actual radiation dose, with erroneous introduction or change of corresponding commands or parameters.
