FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to scanning eye tracking systems. Proposed device comprises scanner, at least two photodetectors and computer. Scanner forms in the eye area and periodically turns the scanning radiation in the form of a scanning line. Each of the photodetectors generates a pulse on the computer when the radiation of the scanner reflected from the cornea of the eye falls on the photodetector. Computer determines the moments of formation of said pulses of photodetectors relative to the trajectory of the scanning radiation and calculates angular coordinates of eye rotation based on said moments of formation of said pulses relative to beginning of periodic turning scanner.

EFFECT: application of the invention allows to simplify data processing, to increase frequency of updating information on eye position.
