FIELD: car industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is used in lidar systems of a vehicle. A lidar system for detection of objects in the environment of an autonomous vehicle contains a radiation source providing emission of output beams and a scanner allowing direction of output beams to a field of view in the environment of the vehicle in the form of a set of data points in a scanning scheme. The scanner contains a scanning surface having a non-flat profile and containing a set of segments of a reflecting surface. Each segment of the reflecting surface is characterized by a position on the scanning surface and an angle relatively to a reference element for reflection of output beams in the form of a distributing beam at the set angle. At the same time, a position and an angle of at least some segments of the reflecting surface allow for regulation of distribution of data points in the scanning scheme along the field of view.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of fixation of data on one or several objects in the environment of a vehicle by formation of a more accurate multimeric map of objects, as well as more effective control of the vehicle, including from the point of view of prevention of collisions with objects in the environment.
