SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to fodder production, in particular to a method for adding metal folate complexes into ration of ruminants, which pass through scar bacteria, and to composition, which is stable in cicatrix, but enterosoluble to provide high content of folic acid in the blood serum of ruminants. Composition contains a metal phosphate complex formed from a metal cation of a water-soluble metal salt and folic acid. Metal cation is selected from a group consisting of iron, copper, zinc and manganese. Water-soluble metal salt and folic acid are combined to increase folic acid levels in the blood serum of the ruminant compared to the composition containing folic acid in the absence of a water-soluble metal salt.

EFFECT: using the group of inventions enables to increase the level of folic acid content in the blood serum of the ruminant.
