FIELD: communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blocking and filtering incoming calls to cellular telephones using mobile applications. For this telephone number from the list of contacts to the user using the application is suggested to filter by such criteria as blocking of the incoming call of the given number always, reception of incoming calls of the given number always, reception of incoming calls of the given number under certain conditions. From the mobile application, filtering criteria are generated with respect to the secret code, which is forwarded through the mobile application to those individuals whose incoming calls the subscriber wants to receive always, wherein the secret code is generated with the possibility of recognition by the same mobile application installed on the other telephone of another subscriber, to which the secret code is addressed. A subscriber having a secret code from a user makes an outgoing call to a user through a mobile application installed on his telephone; before a call is sent, a mobile subscriber application sends an SMS message with a code and only then makes an outgoing call to the user's telephone; when an incoming call arrives at the user's telephone, the application receives the incoming call, simultaneously by means of the program, by disconnecting the microphone and the sound of the incoming call, also reading the determined telephone number of the incoming call of the subscriber, then checking presence of SMS message from same number and if available, content of said SMS message is read and checked for code compliance. When the code is in compliance, the bell is passed, in other cases, other formed filters are made.

EFFECT: providing filtering of unwanted calls, including when it is impossible to determine the number of the calling subscriber.
