SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device which has a display surface, such as a reflecting surface/mirror or a display screen, and in which light can be used to provide semantic information to the user of the device. Disclosed is device (100) comprising display surface (102) for presenting a user image; light-emitting section (104) for using light to transmit semantic information to a user; sensor (108) for measuring position of user relative to light-emitting area (104) and control unit (106) configured to control light-emitting section (104) based on measured position of user relative to light-emitting section (104).
EFFECT: technical result consists in minimizing the effect of light transmitting semantic information provided by light-emitting area (104) to the user's image.
