FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of operating a pair of wells producing high-viscosity oil. Method of operation of a pair of wells producing high-viscosity oil includes steam injection through a horizontal well, extraction of a product through a horizontal production well located below and parallel to the injection well in the same formation. Before pumping two well tubing strings of different diameters are lowered into injection well, wherein the end of the column of larger diameter is placed at the beginning of the horizontal shaft, the end of the column of smaller diameter is placed at the end of the horizontal shaft. Fiber-optic cable and pipe string with depth pump and inlet and outlet temperature and pressure sensors are placed in production well, while steam is pumped into injection well by means of fiber-optic cable and temperature sensors and pressure of thermo-barometric measurements in production well at extraction of products by bottom-hole pump, modes of which are controlled proceeding from thermo-baric investigations. Downhole pump is lowered into production well with productivity exceeding formation productivity. Prior to extracting products to production well via annular space steam is pumped to cutoff pressure not exceeding pressure of hydraulic fracturing of formation, then steam pumping is stopped and product is withdrawn to flow stall. Further, the production well is converted to similar steam injection and injection cycles until production of hydrodynamic connection between the wells, after which the production well is changed over to constant controlled withdrawal of the formation product.
EFFECT: technical result is simplification of pump location in production well and reduction of time of formation heating due to heating through production well.
