FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in oil producing and oil refining enterprises for post-treatment of water from emulsified oil products. To implement the method, an aqueous solution of superparamagnetic magnetite nanoparticles with dimensions of about 10 nm and average aggregate size of 0.8 mcm is added to the water to be purified. In order to extract magnetized emulsion coated with a layer of magnetite nanoparticles, a ferromagnetic filter is used, the filler of which is an ordered set of thin steel rods with diameter of 1 mm, along which the treated water passes. Purified water is passed through such a ferromagnetic filter, inside which there created is magnetic field provided with neodymium magnets, with induction from 2,000 to 5,500 Gs.
EFFECT: method provides optimization of the method and higher degree of treatment of treated water from emulsified petroleum products.
