METHOD OF WET CLEANING OF GASES AND DEVICE FOR ITS EMBODIMENT Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: gases cleaning. SUBSTANCE: method is used for wet cleaning of gases by interaction of contaminated gas flow with counterflow of liquid and by emulsification. Contaminated gas flow twisted by tangential inlet is supplied to circular slot where gas is twisted into opposite direction by blade swirler and gas-liquid mixture is emulsified within wide range of speeds. Method is realized in device having cylindrical body, gas-inlet tangential branch pipe, liquid plate-like doser, blade-type swirler with swirling opposite to inlet branch pipe arranged in circular slot. External ends of output edges of swirlers are lifted above internal ends adjacent to liquid doser. Inlet branch pipe of gas cleaner is provided with nozzles to wash out dust deposits and with system of automatic periodical supply of washing water operating due to rarefaction in gas duct and ensuring blow-out of nozzles by free air. Gas cleaner body is formed as a regular prism, and liquid doser is made as a polygon similar to the prism base. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 cl, 5 dwg
