FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to alloys based on iron, which can be used to create magnetic parts, such as cores of transformers, especially for aircraft. Cold-rolled and annealed iron alloy in form of sheet or strip, wherein its composition consists, in wt %: traces ≤ C ≤ 0.2; traces ≤ Co ≤ 40; if Co≥ 35, traces ≤ Si ≤ 1.0; if traces ≤ Co < 35, traces ≤ Si ≤ 3.5; if traces ≤ Co <35, Si + 0.6 Al ≤ 4.5 − 0.1 Co; traces ≤ Cr ≤ 10; traces ≤ V + W + Mo + Ni ≤ 4; traces ≤ Mn ≤ 4; traces ≤ Al ≤ 3; traces ≤ S ≤ 0.005; traces ≤ P ≤ 0.007; traces ≤ Ni ≤ 3; traces ≤ Cu ≤ 0.5; traces ≤ Nb ≤ 0.1; traces ≤ Zr ≤ 0.1; traces ≤ Ti ≤ 0.2; traces ≤ N ≤ 0.01; traces ≤ Ca ≤ 0.01; traces ≤ Mg ≤ 0.01; traces ≤ Ta ≤ 0.01; traces ≤ B ≤ 0.005; traces ≤ O ≤ 0.01; the rest is iron and impurities obtained as a result of fabrication. For induction of 1.8 T maximum difference (Max Δλ) between magnitudes of magnetostrictive deformation λ, measured parallel to applied magnetic field (Ha) (λ//H) and perpendicular to applied magnetic field (Ha) (λ┴H) on three rectangular samples (2, 3, 4) from said sheet or strip, long sides of which are parallel to direction of rolling (DL) of said sheet or strip, are parallel to transverse direction (DT) of said sheet or strip, and are parallel to direction, forming angle of 45° with said direction of rolling (DL) and with said transverse direction (DT), is not more than 25 ppm, and its degree of recrystallization is 80–100 %. Magnetic core of transformer consists of laminated or rolled sheets, at least some of which are obtained from alloy in form of sheet or strip.
EFFECT: material for forming cores of transformers is characterized by low magnetostriction, which enables to use a high-mass magnetic core.
