FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely to a multilayer sheet of electrical steel used as material for the manufacture of engine cores for hybrid electric vehicles. The multilayer sheet contains an inner layer and surface layers located on both sides of the inner layer. Each of the surface layers has a chemical composition containing silicon [Si]1 in an amount of 2.5-6.0 wt.%, the rest is Fe and inevitable impurities. The chemical composition of an inner layer contains silicon [Si]0 in an amount of 1.5-5.0 wt.%, the rest is Fe and inevitable impurities. The multilayer sheet has a difference ΔSi between the Si content in each of the surface layers and the Si content in the inner layer expressed as [Si]1- [Si]0 of 0.5 mass% or more; the absolute value of the ΔAl difference between the Al content present as an unavoidable impurity in each of the surface layers [Al]1, and the content of Al present as an unavoidable impurity in the inner [Al]0 layer, represented as | [Al]1-[Al]0 |, which is 0.05 wt% or less; the absolute value of the Δλ1,0/400 difference between the λ1,0/400,1 magnetostriction of each of the surface layers and the λ1,0/400,0 magnetostriction of the inner layer, which is 1,0×10-6 or less; a sheet thickness t of 0.03-0.3 mm, and a ratio of the total thickness of the surface layers t1 to t of 0.10-0.70.

EFFECT: sheet has low high frequency iron loss and high magnetic flux density.
