FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to production of sheet from non-textured Fe-Si steel. In order to improve magnetic properties of steel, the method includes stages of steel melting containing the following, wt%: C≤0.006, 2.0≤Si≤ 5.0, 0.1≤ Al≤3.0, 0.1≤Mn≤3.0, N≤0.006, 0.04≤Sn≤0.2, S≤0.005, P≤0.2, Ti≤0.01, the rest are Fe and unavoidable impurities, casting said melt into slab, reheating said slab, hot rolling said slab, winding said hot-rolled steel, optional annealing of hot-rolled steel, cold rolling, annealing and cooling of cold-rolled steel to room temperature. Annealed cold-rolled sheet has thickness from 0.14 to 0.67 mm and microstructure containing ferrite with grain size from 30 to 200 mcm and is used for making engines and generators.

EFFECT: disclosed is method of making sheet from tin-containing non-textured silicon steel, obtained steel sheet and its application.
