FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of oil formations using production and injection wells. Invention comprises method of super-viscous oil deposit development. Method of development can be used in oil deposits, where production of high-viscous oil from formations is carried out by thermal method of oil displacement with hot water or superheated steam. Method of super-viscous oil deposit development includes geophysical survey of deposit. According to geophysical studies and according to core sampling data, average oil-saturated thickness of the deposit is determined and the outlines of oil-bearing area and the initial volume of extracted oil reserves are specified. Further, the main horizontal wellbores are drilled at horizontal distance 100–150 m from each other above water-oil contact level, which does not lead to breakthrough of underlying formation water. Periodic pumping of heat carrier and extraction of products are performed to the main horizontal boreholes. During operation of main shafts of horizontal wells, updating of current recoverable reserves is carried out 1-2 times a month. 3–5 times a month the produced product water content is measured for each well. When water cut is achieved in one of wells within 80–100 %, drilling of additional lateral horizontal boreholes in the bottom part of the formation at horizontal distance 10–50 m from the main horizontal boreholes. At that angle is maintained between line connecting faces of main horizontal shaft and additional lateral horizontal shaft, and its projection along horizontal in range of 50–70º. When selecting the distance between additional shafts, technological capabilities of drilling equipment for their wiring are taken into account. In additional side horizontal boreholes there arranged is fiber-optic cable and thermobaric measurements are performed. Temperature is controlled by means of a fiber-optic cable.
EFFECT: increased coverage of the deposit by thermal action due to drilling of additional lateral horizontal shafts, increased coefficient of oil extraction due to inclusion of previously not covered areas, and necessity to drill new wells.
