FIELD: chemical or physical processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to targeting agent marking with gallium-68. Disclosed is a kit for labeling a chelated target agent with a radioactive isotope, containing a suitable amount of an acetate salt or an acetate salt buffer for neutralizing the eluate with acidic pH from a gallium-68 generator to a pH value in range of 3 to 5, when said generator elutes; a chelate-functionalising agent, wherein said chelate functional group is able to chelate gallium-68 under labeling conditions with a radioactive isotope; and a metal inhibitor capable of deactivating metal impurities without inhibiting chelation between gallium-68 and said functionalised chelating agent under radioactive isotope labeling conditions, wherein said metal inhibitor is selected from a group comprising: DOTA, DTPA, monosaccharides and disaccharides. Also disclosed is use of said kit for labeling chelated target functionalised agent gallium-68 and methods of labeling functionalised chelating agent with gallium-68.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher efficiency of labeling.
