SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a metal inhibitor which improves yields of labeling with radioactive isotopes. Disclosed is the use of a metal inhibitor for the radioactive metal based radioactive label synthesis, wherein labeling with a radioactive isotope is carried out using: a chelate-functionalising targeting agent capable of chelating radioactive metal under labeling conditions with a radioactive isotope; a metal inhibitor selected from a group comprising: monosaccharides, disaccharides and beta-cyclodextrins, which is a combined chelating agent capable of deactivating metals other than radioactive metal, without preventing the chelating between the radioactive metal and said functionalised chelating agent under the conditions of the labeling reaction with a radioactive isotope; metal fluoride based on fluorine-18 or radioactive metal selected from group: copper-64, scandium-47, scandium-44, scandium-43, zirconium-89, lutecium-177, indium-114, indium-111, yttrium-86 , yttrium-90, bismuth-213, bismuth-212, actinium-225, lead-212, rhenium-188, rhenium-186, rubidium-82; and an acetate buffer, which maintains pH in range of 3–7. Also disclosed is a method of labeling a chelate functionalised targeting agent with a metal radionuclide and a labeling kit with a radioactive isotope.
