FIELD: monitoring and measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of test and measurement equipment, specifically to methods of external ballistic measurements, consisting in visual tracking and recording of ammunition behavior on trajectory. Method of trajectory tracking of ammunition includes arrangement of several electrooptical stations (EOS) of tracking for tracking movement of object along prospective trajectory, calculation of direction of movement of object for each EOS, orientation of each EOS to design direction of survey, processing of video signal and transmission of survey results for further analysis. To implement the method, EOS is placed with mutual overlapping of their field of vision in horizontal direction along a possible trajectory of ammunition flight, orientation of separate EOS on direction of survey is carried out taking into account capture in field of view in vertical plane of "beam" of trajectories calculated taking into account errors of measurements at the moment of firing throw speed, angle of throw and azimuth. Video fixing is carried out by successive serial EOS switching on.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is higher information value of tests and accuracy of their results due to observability of monitored objects along flight path with reduction of energy consumption for operation of used equipment.
