FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antennas or antenna systems with variable orientation of the beam pattern and can be used to form a signal direction in radio systems of auto-tracking of high-speed aircrafts and objects. Passive scatterers controlled from the control unit are installed on the reflecting surface of the reflector in order to form a uniform signal direction in the mirror antenna. Implementation of the invention does not require application of special antenna feeders and provides possibility of multiple switching-on/off of mode of formation of equisignal direction without changing antenna design.
EFFECT: absence of inertia elements in design of passive diffusers enables to perform operations for generation of equisignal direction with high operating speed.
