FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation. Catapult for launching of unmanned aerial vehicle comprises box (2) equipped with guides, flexible resilient coupling, power source. Box (2) is arranged with the possibility of the drone aircraft placement inside it and its free movement within the space between guides (2). Power source is made on the basis of rotary motion drive. Flexible elastic connection is made in the form of two closed binding bodies (9) located inside the box and synchronously moving along guides by means of at least four rollers (4, 5) installed in box (2), two of which are located on one axles (6) with drive on one end of guides (2), and two behind opposite ends of guides (2). Binding bodies (9) are made with possibility of engagement through holes with hooks of aircraft and release of hooks from engagement at passage of hole with hook through rollers at departure of unmanned aerial vehicle from box (2).
EFFECT: excluding from the structure elements which require emergency braking when the UAV is deployed from the catapult, combining in the hull structure functions of protection against external influences and the UAV direction, possibility of adjusting the UAV acceleration mode.
