FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to creation and maintenance of static pressure in hydraulic reservoir and can be used in metrological practice at automation of procedures of calibration and calibration of pressure measuring devices. Method of generating reference pressure in volume with working substance consists in that initially balancing static pressure in volume with working substance with measured static pressure of ambient medium, and in process of its change in pressure range from above-specified value its value is measured in process of reduction of pressure in volume with working substance, and at the moment of balancing created pressure level in volume with working substance with preset these values are fixed.

EFFECT: improving accuracy of creation of reference pressure in volume with working substance at calibration of pressure measuring devices.
