FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: proposed group of inventions (variants) relates to measuring equipment and can be used to perform verification, calibration, metrological self-control and other procedures in estimation of metrological characteristics, as well as grading industrial measuring channels (MCh). According to the first variant, the method for determining the metrological characteristics (MCs) of an MCh and/or components thereof, wherein a measuring signal is transmitted from the measuring apparatus (MA) to information processing apparatuses and/or displaying devices, consists in performing the following steps: a reference value Xref is entered into the MA within the measurement scale or the range of the MA output signal, the MA suspends the output of the measuring signal the value whereof functionally depends on the measured parameter (e.g., pressure, fluid flow, electric current strength), instead of the measuring signal, a test signal from the MA is transmitted via the MCh the value whereof functionally depends on Xref, the Ymch indication obtained during reception of the test signal is recorded on the information processing apparatuses and/or displaying apparatuses whereof the MC is comprised, the metrological characteristics of the MCh and/or the components thereof are calculated considering the Xref and Ymch values. To implement such method and to generate the required test signal, the measuring device operates as follows: the reference value Xref is entered into the MA using the data input interface, the MA suspends the output of the outgoing measuring signal the value whereof functionally depends on the measured parameter, the MA generates an outgoing test signal the value whereof functionally depends on or is equal to Xref. According to the second variant of the method of determining the MCs of a measuring channel containing an MA with an analogue output and a digital output, the analogue output of the MA is connected to the cable lines of the MCh transmitting the retrieved indications to one input of the calculation unit (CU), and the other input of the CU is directly connected to the digital output of the MA through a digital data transmission interface, the CU calculates the metrological characteristics of the MCh according to the defined program.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of estimation of the MCs of an MCh and reduced labour consumption for performing periodic inspection thereof, determining the MCs not only for the MCh as a whole, but simultaneously for the components thereof separately.
