FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, and can be used for treating patients with skin cancer. A radiation therapy is performed with preliminary local cooling of the tumor to freezing temperature on the clinically determined border of the tumor and healthy tissue. At the first stage of treatment, remote irradiation with electrons or photons with a single boost dose of 2 Gy daily for five days a week with a two-day pause to achieve a total boost dose of 46 Gy. After the first stage, the treatment by the contact radiation therapy is continued to the area of a residual tumor or a tumor bed with the applicator corresponding to the tumor size, a single boost dose of 3 Gy, three fractions to the total boost dose of 9 Gy. Total boost dose for two stages of treatment is 60 Gy by isoeffect.
EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness, reduced radiation load on neighboring adjacent tumors of normal tissues with maximum preservation of their forms and functions due to cryoradiation and two-stage radiation therapy.
