FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: drum of the elevator drum is formed by a set of V-shaped ribs resting by their tops on the drum support disc installed perpendicular to the rotation axis in the drum centre and directed along the drum rotation with pitch providing their mutual overlapping. Outer edges of the ribs form a barrel-like surface in contact with the conveying belt. Side surfaces of the ribs during rotation of the drum in contact with the transporting belt form inclined channels, through which seeds caught inside the drum are carried by gravitational forces beyond the drum.
EFFECT: avoiding damage and sorting of grain material, as well as reduced pulsations of speed of conveyor belt.
