SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screw propulsion units. Screw-type propulsor comprises a rotor with a screw flange provided with a rotation mechanism and a rotary head. Helical incomplete crest is multistart in the form of detachable segments having the possibility of rocking motion in the transverse plane of the rotor on the axial pins of the intermediate discs and interconnected in a circular relation by means of twisted compression springs. Springs can be cylindrical and / or barrel-shaped.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of screw propulsors for wheelchairs.
