FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to titanium alloys, and more specifically to two-phase titanium alloys with an alpha-beta structure having high specific strength. High-strength titanium alloy with alpha-beta-structure contains, wt %: Al from 4.7 to 6.0, V from 6.5 to 8.0, Si and O each less than 1, Ti and random impurities—the rest, wherein Al/V ratio is from 0.65 to 0.8. At room temperature specific yield strength of alloy is at least 220 kN·m/kg, and fracture toughness is at least 40 MPa·m1/2.

EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high strength, ductility and fracture toughness as well as low specific gravity.
