FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to high-strength titanium alloys with alpha-beta-structure. Alpha-beta-titanium alloy contains, wt%: aluminum from about 4.5 to about 5.5; vanadium from about 3.0 to about 5.0; molybdenum from about 0.72 to about 1.8; iron from about 0.48 to about 1.2; oxygen from about 0.12 to about 0.25; silicon from about 0.10 to about 0.40; optionally alloying element selected from a group consisting of niobium, chrome, tin and zirconium, wherein total amount of alloying elements is less than about 1.0 wt%; the rest is titanium and random admixtures; the content of any random impurities is less than about 0.1 wt%, and the total amount of all impurities is less than about 0.5 wt%.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high values of oxidation resistance at high temperatures, heat resistance and creep strength, as well as improved superplasticity.
