SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive tire wear indicators. Pneumatic tire (500) comprises wear indicator (510). Tire (500) can be made by insertion of rod (200) of the mold into tread (505) of the tire during manufacture. Form (100) for this purpose comprises at least seven rods (200) running in parallel in direction (SZ) of height on one side of object (110, 160) and connected to object (110, 160). Rods (200) are arranged so that between cross sections (300, 301) of rods (200, 201) there are multiple distances and that minimum of said plurality of distances (di,j(z)) is at least 0.5 mm. Cross-section (300) and/or height of at least some of rods (200) vary in direction (SZ) of height such that for a number of different elevation marks, cross-sections (300) of rods (200) on said elevation marks determine the number of different mirror-displayed characters (120), which mirror images are represented by wear indicator (510), wherein one mirror-displayed symbol (120) corresponds to one elevation, and number of different elevation marks and mirror-displayed symbols is equal to at least two.
EFFECT: technical result is improved performance indicators of car tires.
