FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: tire is provided with tread pattern wear indicator wherein tread pattern is formed by pattern parts in the form of ribs and/or in the form of blocks and comprises at least one circumferential groove wherein indicator is located on pattern surface part, in said ribs or blocks in contact with road covering, and has the form of cuts running radially in tire tread. Note here that maximum depth of indicator cuts is less than that of said circumferential groove. Tire tread pattern wear indicator (3) consists of seven radial different-depth cuts created and arranged to make Arabic numeral 8 in segment representation. One of said radial cuts has minimum depth in horizontal section in the plane passing through cut depth parallel with tread surface. Other six cuts are arranged in the form of Arabic numeral 6 in segment representation that displays at certain tread wear degree. Three other cuts with maximum depth of said seven cuts are arranged in the form of Arabic numeral 4 formed in the plane of depth of the other three mean-depth cuts.

EFFECT: improved display of tread wear.
