SUBSTANCE: use: to determine wind speed. Summary of invention consists in the fact that ultrasonic 3D anemometer consists of control electric pulses generation unit, electronic computing device, a unit for indicating wind parameters and a mechanical structure which supports electroacoustic transducers in space, wherein the composition further includes a control pulse selection unit, a measurement error selection unit and an additional pair of acoustically matched electroacoustic transducers such that the output of the control electric pulse generation unit is connected to the input of the control pulse selection unit, which outputs are connected to electroacoustic transducers inputs, which outputs, in turn, are connected to inputs of electronic computing device connected to input of measurement error selection unit, which output is connected to the wind parameters indication unit, wherein the electroconductive transducers carrying fixture structure is a central post with consoles on which 8 electroacoustic transducers are fixed, forming 4 acoustically matched pairs, wherein geometrically electroacoustic transducers are arranged at vertices of imaginary cube so that vertical axis of symmetry of cube coincides with axis of central pillar, and acoustic axes of pairwise matched electroacoustic transducers pass along diagonals of side faces of said cube and do not have intersection points.
EFFECT: eliminating error in determination of the wind velocity vector arising due to the wind shading of the measuring volume by elements of carrying reinforcement of electroacoustic transducers.
