FIELD: radiation instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radiation instrument-making and can be used in scintillation process control instruments. Essence of the invention is that the method for differential stabilization of the scintillation DB gamma-radiation DB spectrometric channel along the reference peak additionally includes stages, at which KPDT is gradually increased at the beginning until SZCSI from DB output in process of increase reaches preset value caused by scintillation unit own noise, wherein the DB discrimination time threshold is selected such that when the SZCSI reaches the preset value from the DB output caused by the scintillation unit own noise, the DK is necessarily to the left of the reference peak, then gradually reducing the KPDT, and simultaneously comparing the SZCSI in both DCs, until according to the comparison results it is determined that the right DK is on the left slope of the reference peak, after which the SZCSI is continued to be compared in the DK and the results of comparison reduce or increase the KPDT until DK are on different slopes of the reference peak and only then constant DB discrimination threshold is established and start to generate control signal of KPDT correction for direct stabilization of spectrometric channel.
EFFECT: simplified initial tuning of scintillation device, increased stability of operation under conditions of considerable change of ambient temperature and aging of elements.
