SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING AND RECORDING STABLE AUDITORY RESPONSES BY SPEECH-LIKE STIMULUS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B5/484 A61B5/12 H04R25/00

Abstract RU 2725746 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and diagnostic system for recording stable auditory responses of a patient. Diagnostic system comprises a stimulation unit for providing an acoustic signal stimulus to the patient's ear and a recording unit for recording the patient's stable auditory responses, occurring under action of stimulus. Acoustic stimulus signal is sent to the patient's ear. Stable auditory responses of the patient caused by the stimulus signal. Acoustic signal comprises a speech-like stimulus provided as a combination of a sequence of individual stimuli at given frequencies, each having a predetermined frequency band, frequency of repetition, amplitude and amplitude modulation. Individual stimuli at preset frequencies and repetition frequencies of individual stimuli at given frequencies are different and are selected so as to be suitable for recording the induced auditory responses in response to stimuli and to obtain a response from the corresponding auditory canal structures. Combined amplitude spectrum of individual stimuli at given frequencies corresponds to a long-term amplitude spectrum of speech.

EFFECT: providing stimulation with speech-like signals with amplitude variations in time, which are similar to freely pronounced speech and enable simultaneous assessment of an auxiliary electrophysiological reaction at several different levels of speech.
