FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of increasing strength of a coated part. Surface-plastic deformation is performed by running-in with deforming element with further hardening of coating by ultrasonic treatment with reinforcing element. Simultaneously with ultrasonic treatment, high-frequency single pulses of current discharge are passed through reinforcing element to treatment zone to coating surface with frequency of pulsed discharges of 22–24 kHz, current density of 1–2⋅105 A/cm2 and duration of 1–2⋅10-5 s.
EFFECT: higher adhesion strength between coating and substrate.
