SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polypeptide having antibacterial activity against each infectious bacterium selected from A. baumannii, E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, B. anthracis and K. pneumonia. Also disclosed are a conjugate, a composition and a kit containing said polypeptide. Disclosed are methods of treating a subject, disinfecting an object, inhibiting the formation or destruction of a bacterial biofilm.
EFFECT: invention possesses effective antibacterial activity against each infectious bacterium selected from Acinetobacter baumannii, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus anthracis and Klebsiella pneumonia.
