SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a secure method of starting a machine-type communication device. After receiving the trigger message from the MTC server, the network is authenticated whether the MTC server is authorized to start the MTC target device and whether the MTC device is authorized to respond to the trigger message by comparing the MTC device ID and the MTC server ID which are included in the trigger message with the authorized ID. After successful verification, the network checks the launch type included in the trigger message to verify that the trigger message is authorized to be sent to the MTC device.
EFFECT: method provides higher degree of authentication and verification, preventing leakage of data.
