FIELD: surveillance systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multi-position radio systems for monitoring a group of moving objects which are solvable by Doppler frequency. Method can be used in existing multi-position radio detection systems and trajectory tracking of objects operating in "Silent Sentry System" mode. Disclosed method enables to obtain position and velocity estimates in a group of objects by measuring angular coordinates and direction vectors of the reflection objects using a phase method based on spectral components of the received signals, allocated at Doppler frequencies, detect objects by criterion of conjugation of direction vectors to objects in stereopairs of receivers, find estimates of distances to detected objects and their spatial coordinates, as well as object velocity vectors based on solving systems of algebraic equations in one discrete moment in time.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is enabling possibility of obtaining position and speed estimates in a group of objects by fixing direction vectors of directions to objects in one discrete time moment with a steadily reversed matrix.
