FIELD: radar and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to multi-position semi-active systems for direction-finding of moving objects with processing of radio signals in single-period probing mode. In disclosed method, transceiving station emits harmonic signal at short time interval, and auxiliary receivers, remote from the transmitter, synchronized with it in time and mutually oriented in space, receive and process the reflected signal from several moving objects. Such operating mode of the transceiving station ensures its stealthiness. At the same time execution of operations of detection, determination of angular coordinates and vectors of velocities of objects is carried out in one period of probing using time-frequency processing of received signals in a receiver positioning system. Method can be used in systems for direction finding of several objects moving at close speeds.
EFFECT: providing execution of operations for detection and determination of angular coordinates of objects in one probing period, as well as detection of objects with identical velocity vectors and determination of their angular coordinates due to frequency-time processing of received signals.
