FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and can be used in medicine, pharmaceutical and food industry. Disclosed is a method of producing a pectin-cellulose film composite, comprising culturing Gluconacetobacter sucrofermentas cellulose in static and dynamic conditions on shaker at 250 rpm and temperature of 30 °C in medium HS (Hestrin, Schramm, 1954) of the following composition, g/l: D-glucose – 20.0; yeast extract – 5.0; peptone – 5.0; Na2PHO4 – 2.7; citric acid – 1.15, at pH of medium – 6.0 and sterilization mode 121 °C for 20 minutes. When cultivating cellulose, pectin-10 is included in the composition, and the cultivation itself is carried out in a shaker-incubator for three days at a mixing rate of 150 rpm at temperature of 30 °C, then stationary for seven days at same temperature, until the surface film of bacterial cellulose appears, after which the bacterial cellulose is separated from the culture medium and periodically washed with 0.5 % aqueous NaOH solution, then distilled water and 0.5 % HCl and again distilled water until neutral reaction, then samples are placed on a flat surface and dried at room temperature to constant weight.
EFFECT: obtaining bacterial cellulose films with new additional properties: weak antibacterial activity and intensified sorption properties.
