SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of microbiological obtaining of polysaccharides, namely bacterial cellulose, and can be used in medicine, industry. The method includes cultivation of a strain of bacteria Gluconacetobacter sucrofermentans H-110 on native milk whey for 3-5 days at a temperature of 28-30°C, separation of the obtained bacterial cellulose from the culture medium and drying at 80°C to the constant weight.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the method of obtaining bacterial cellulose and utilise milk whey.
