SUBSTANCE: method provides for cultivation of a strain of Gluconacetobacter sucrofermentans H-110 (VKPM V-11267) bacteria in liquid phase of after-alcohol grain stillage obtained after mechanical separation of a solid phase during 3-5 days at the temperature of 28±2°C and pH 3.9-4.4, as well as separation of the obtained bacterial cellulose from cultural medium and drying at 80°C till constant weight.

EFFECT: invention allows simplifying a method for obtaining bacterial cellulose.
