FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method of increasing grip coefficient of tires of a mobile machine with a support surface consists in the following. In compliance with support surface type, wheel tire tread temperature level is set on said surface. Tire tread temperature is varied by means of an element which is mounted on the tire under the tread, connected to the electrical circuit of the mobile machine by the tire tread temperature setting regulator, connected to the control unit, unit for emergency inclusion of tire tread temperature control and with temperature sensor through current collector. Element installed on the tire under the protector is a thermoelectric converter, mainly from series-connected Peltier elements, with one type of junctions arranged under the protector and another type of junctions arranged in the tire cavity. Tire tread temperature change is carried out in manual control mode by power on and off, or in automatic control mode by switching on and off required mode to reach preset temperature range, or in mode of automatic emergency activation of required mode for fast achievement of optimum temperature. Expanding functional capabilities of the method by providing not only heating of the protector, but also its cooling, and expansion due to this operating temperature range, providing high values of grip coefficient.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities in improving the grip of tires to the support surface.
