FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology. In the nasal cavity on both sides, silicone intranasal splints are inserted, through which the torn mucous membrane of the nasal septum is stretched, and its edges are compared. Flattened plates of fragments of quadrangular cartilage, a vomer, perpendicular plate of ethmoid bone are laid between sheets of expanded mucous membrane of nasal septum. Intranasal splints are fixed through sutures through a nasal septum.
EFFECT: method enables preventing the formation of perforation of the nasal septum during surgical treatment of curvature of the nasal septum, providing reliable fixation of ruptured fragments of the mucous membrane, as well as plates of flattened cartilage and bone laid between them and reduce the length of nasal septum mucosa healing to 9 days.
